On Wednesday 1st residents learnt about the origins of April Fools Day and some of the famous past April Fools such as the ‘Spaghetti trees’ that the BBC showed in Switzerland in 1957 and that many people made enquiries to them about buying after they were shown! Afterwards they managed no less than 80 words from the phrase April Fools Day, after a target of 30!
During the afternoon residents enjoyed a lively sing-along. Margaret and Beryl particularly enjoyed it!
