December Festive Events at Woodlands

 

Hayden’s Christingle Service

The residents had a lovely afternoon making their Christingles, followed by the Christingle Service.  The residents enjoyed celebrating Christmas with Hayden and joined in all the carols.

Woodlands Residents Trip to Fleet Lions Christmas Concert

The residents enjoyed the singing and at the interval were given tea and mince pies.

Everyone said what a lovely evening they had.

Alison and Mario visit Woodlands

Alison visited Woodlands with Mario.  The residents love to have a cuddle with him.

Fleet Magical Mystery Christmas Lights Tour

Becky and Ernie took the residents on a magical mystery light tour of Fleet.  Showing the residents, the highlights around Fleet, finishing up at the Wyvern for mulled wine and mice pies serve for the residents convivence on the mini bus. Everyone has a lovely evening thanks to  Ernie giving up his time and Becky for organising another successful evening for the residents!!!










The King Singers Visit Woodlands

The residents enjoyed the King Singers, who regularly come to Woodlands, perform their Christmas Carol Evening.  Finishing off an enjoyable evening with drinks and mince pies!!

The residents knit square that are sewn together and made in to blankets for charity.

Knitted Blankets to the Salvation Army for the Homeless

The Salvation Army welcome the knitted blankets and were very appreciative that Woodlands have donated them to their charity especially at this time of year.  They have kindly said that in the New Year they will organise with Becky for their band to visit Woodlands to play for the residents.
