Activities at Woodlands and Hill Brow during March 2014
In March our residents at Woodlands and Hill Brow enjoyed lots of various activities around the theme “Spring Starts”. Here are just some of things our residents have been up to;
On 7th March our residents enjoyed a trip to their favourite pub The Tweseldown. Residents enjoyed a lovely morning of sunshine, chat and laughter over a few drinks and a packet of crisps.
On 17th March the residents attended a joint St Patricks Day Celebration at Hill House with great musical entertainment. It was a fun afternoon with plenty of singing, dancing, a spot of Tea and of course a cake or two!
Throughout March residents have also been busy making spring daffodil and tulip window catchers, they have had some wonderful comments on how beautiful and colourful they are. Residents have also been making different types of greeting cards which they have elected to sell to raise money for the Charity “Families Supporting Care”. These cards can be found in the reception area at Woodlands.
On 28th March residents visited Redfields Garden Centre. We had a lovely time looking at all the different coloured primroses, as well as the wonderful array of spring tubs and baskets. We ended our morning with a nice mug of Hot Chocolate in Redfields new “Café Theatre”.
