OUR VERY OWN SPRINGWATCH!

nest-box

We have recently installed a wired bird box in the each garden connected to televisions in the homes.  We’re very excited about being able to watch our garden birds nesting and feeding their young.

Different birds nest at different times, often having multiple broods throughout the season.  They also use nest boxes to hide in, shelter and roost in. Some take a while to get used to a new home.

Winter, spring, summer or autumn – it’s never too late or the “wrong time” to put up a nestbox so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will warm up and they’ll be looking for a home!
