Pets as therapy
We are delighted that the charity ‘Pets as Therapy’ has agreed to come and visit us on a regular basis.
Everyone acknowledges the calming and comforting influence animals can have on our lives and the residents made a great fuss of their first ‘visitor’ Chewy, a ten year old greyhound. We are hoping that visits will continue every month.
We encourage family and friends to bring their dogs with them when they visit and its always a popular time at the homes. Alison, the owner, goes everywhere with her springer Daisy, who has become a real favourite reviving doggy memories for so many residents who once owned dogs of their own.
