Activities
Woodlands and Hill Brow is truly a family concern. We welcome the residents families, and friends, to get involved.
At both Woodlands and Hill Brow we offer a varied activities programme.

A lively programme means there is usually something going on most mornings and afternoons, including the regular and popular activities of outings to Fleet, Farnham and Hartley Wintney for shopping, garden centre coffee mornings, fish and chip lunches, theatre trips and visits to the local pub. Residents are encouraged to contribute their own ideas to the programme through monthly resident's meetings and a questionnaire that they complete every 6 months.
Each year we take drives out to see the snowdrops and the bluebells, we visit RHS Wisley and the seaside, go on canal boat trips and take many one-off outings to places of interest. The activities programme includes the poetry club, singing, gardening, bingo, the giant crossword and wine tasting.
We have local musicians who come and perform for us - a mixture of classical, jazz and old time. We visit the local theatres regularly and old time musical concerts are a favorite too.
We have regular visits from the library, the chiropodist and the beautician. The hairdresser also visits once a week and appointments can be made with her. The local vicar visits to give monthly communion and we have a local church group who come once a month to give bible readings and sing some favourite hymns.
Some residents regularly attend local churches as well as their favorite clubs and day centres.
We provide rooms which people can book for parties or can organise parties for residents.
We have no formal visiting as families and friends are encouraged to visit whenever they can and many go out regularly with their families. Just as they would if they were still in their own home.
